Colin Doherty

Colin Doherty

Chief Executive Officer

Colin excels in business transformation, scale, and growth, building high-performance teams with extensive experience in Cloud Security and B2B SaaS Enterprise technologies. He has 25+ years of executive leadership including serving as CEO of Arbor Networks from 2009 to 2014. He also served as CEO at four other high-growth B2B SaaS, infrastructure, and security services companies, Mangrove Systems, BTI, Dyn, and Fuze. Most recently, Colin served as the Growth Partner at Wavecrest Growth Partners, where he oversaw strategic growth agendas for portfolio company investments.

Earlier in his career, he held executive positions as a CRO and an SVP of Global Sales at Nortel Networks in carrier and enterprise technologies in Europe, the US, and Latin America. Colin is a graduate of Abertay University, Scotland, and holds a Postgraduate degree in Marketing from the Institute of Marketing in London.

Kevin oversees our global financial and business operations functions. He has 25+ years of finance and operational experience in software, content, and technology companies, including several roles as CFO at successful public and private companies.

Most recently, he was CFO of 20-20 Technologies where he completed multiple acquisitions, three debt recapitalizations, and two company sales. Prior to that, he was the CFO of other private equity-backed companies including Agamatrix, Inc. and HCPro, Inc., where he completed several debt financing transactions, managed more than 12 acquisitions, and was a member of the executive team responsible for the sale of HCPro. He was also the CFO for I-Many, Inc., responsible for investor relations, treasury, and M&A, working closely with investors and analysts. Kevin graduated from Salem State University and is a CPA.

Anthony drives the overall revenue for the business, including all sales, account management, channel partnerships, sales development, and revenue functions. He brings 20+ years of technology sales experience to Vercara, leading and driving top-performing sales teams.

Prior to Vercara, Anthony held multiple roles of increasing responsibility within the Neustar sales organization. Starting as an Account Executive, Anthony quickly became a top performer and took over the leadership of the EMEA team in 2012. Leading this team, Anthony grew the international business and built out the international sales team before moving into the SVP of Global Sales role in 2019.

Nakisha Griffin

Nakisha leads, directs, develops, and coordinates the policies, activities, and staff of the human resources department, ensuring legal compliance and innovative implementation of the organization’s mission, vision, and goals through talent strategy. She has 15+ years of human resources leadership experience with a specialization in organizational development and workforce planning.

Prior to Vercara, she was the Chief Operations Officer for Virtual Enterprise Architects, where she oversaw Human Resources, Business Operations, and Program Management. She is a graduate of Kean University and the University of Connecticut, and holds Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certifications.

Alice leads the company’s global marketing strategy to drive growth through accelerated demand generation, product and partner marketing, and brand building. She has 20+ years of experience managing top B2B brands and successfully leading global organizations through business model transformations and market expansion. Her leadership experience includes strategy, product marketing, demand generation, digital marketing, analytics, customer marketing, brand and public relations. She prides herself on a customer-centric, data-driven approach and strong cross-functional collaboration, particularly with sales and product teams.

In her most recent role as Senior Vice President of Marketing at Monotype, Alice empowered the world’s top brands to be authentic, powerful, and consistent. Prior to Monotype, she held global marketing roles at Autodesk and Avid Technology. Alice is a graduate of Duke University and has an MBA from Babson College.

Carlos Morales

Carlos is responsible for product management of Vercara’s portfolio of application security, DNS, and threat data services. In his role, he manages and empowers a senior group of product managers to define product strategy, product requirements, and roadmaps, and oversees the release process to create service differentiation and accelerate growth. He also helps define the strategy for security acquisitions and the execution of strategic partnerships. Before taking the SVP of Solutions role, he was CTO of the Security Solutions business unit within Neustar.

Previously, Carlos served as General Manager for the Arbor Cloud Service at Netscout, leading product strategy, sales, and operations, and driving the service P&L. Prior to Netscout, he was part of the Arbor Networks (acquired by Netscout) executive team and responsible for the global pre-sales team for more than a decade and the Arbor Security Engineering and Response Team (ASERT). He has also held technical leadership positions at Nortel Networks and Tiburon Networks.

Mark leads Vercara’s software engineering and drives the innovation of the company’s cloud-based and data-driven security services business including Vercara’s industry-leading application security, DNS, security intelligence, and website performance management offerings. He has 25+ years of leadership experience in high-growth technology businesses, most recently with Neustar, Inc. Prior to Neustar, he led Service Delivery for Revolution Health, a Washington, D.C.-based startup. He also led operations and software development teams at America Online and served as an Architect at Mobil Oil, transforming their global futures trading floor technologies.

Mark is a graduate of Michigan State University and has a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from George Washington University.

James Willett

James oversees network architecture and operations, customer support, professional services, information security, and operations. He has 25+ years of experience delivering winning management strategies with customers and team members alike, producing results while solving customer and business problems. In his prior role, James led operations, engineering, product management, professional services, customer success, and sales engineering teams for Security and Marketing solutions at Neustar.

Prior to Neustar, James founded JaTell, a boutique consulting firm specializing in engagements with Fortune 500 clients and critical Internet infrastructure providers. He also directed professional services for MainNerve, Inc., managing all consulting processes and customer service delivery, including the company’s high-stakes information security clients.

James is a United States Marine Corps veteran and has also held various systems engineering and consulting positions, responsible for maintaining IT systems and applications in production environments.

Kevin collaborates with our corporate business units and external parties to provide strategic advice to a company’s board of directors and executive team, navigating and managing the key legal issues and initiatives that facilitate an organization’s success. He has 25+ years experience advising on mergers and acquisitions, business transformations, and other legal matters related to privacy, cyber security, data governance, CFIUS, litigation, corporate governance and compliance, commercial and government contracting, and labor and employment. He also has deep private practice experience, including extensive work in M&A, financial transactions, corporate governance, public company reporting, regulatory compliance, executive compensation, employment law, dispute resolution, and litigation.

Kevin is a graduate of Boston College and has a J.D., Law from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law.
