Tailor your internet experience to meet your needs with Vercara UltraDNS Public. Everyone is different and not everyone uses the internet the same way.
If you have a router on your network, we recommend that you modify your DNS settings there. This way, you typically only have to make one change, as opposed to making a change to each computer or device on your network.
1. Login to your router
To login and configure your router, you need to use a web browser. Simply type in your routers IP address to get started. If you don’t know the IP address for your router, it is typically one of the following:
https://192.168.0.1 /
https://192.168.1.1
https://192.168.10.1
If you have forgotten your router’s username and/or password, the most common username is “admin” and the password is either blank, “admin” or “password.” Most new routers now have unique usernames and passwords written directly on them.
2. Find the DNS server settings
Look for “DNS” next to a field which allows two or three sets of numbers (these fields may be empty).
3. Put in your desired UltraDNS Public server IP addresses and click save/apply
Please write down your current DNS settings, in case you want to return to your old settings for any reason.
1. Select Control Panel from the Start menu.
2. Click Network or Network and Sharing Center from the Control Panel choices.
3. Right click on your connection and click Properties.

5. Click Use the following DNS server addresses and type in the desired UltraDNS Public addresses in the Preferred DNS server and Alternate DNS server fields. Please write down your current DNS settings, in case you want to return to your old settings for any reason.
1. Select System Preferences from the Apple menu (top left).
2. Click Network icon.
3. Click Advanced… button at the bottom right of the screen.
4. Add the desired UltraDNS Public addresses in the DNS Servers field, then click OK. Please write down your current DNS settings, in case you want to return to your old settings for any reason.
1. Go to Wi-Fi settings on your Android device.
2. Select Wi-Fi on the menu, then the Wi-Fi network you want to use.
3. Press and hold the network name you want to connect to.
4. Select Modify network config – on some devices you may need to select “Advanced” for additional settings.
5. Switch the IP settings from DHCP to static – the Android device will populate the IP address it has acquired via DHCP.
6. Replace the DNS 1 and DNS 2 with desired UltraDNS Public IP addresses. Please write down your current DNS settings, in case you want to return to your old settings for any reason.
1. While connected to a wireless network, open Settings app, click on the “Wi-Fi” option.
2. Click on wireless network for which you wish to change DNS settings.
3. Click on the DNS option under the settings, enter desired UltraDNS Public IP addresses.
